Controlling Business Analyst (f/m/div.)

As a Controlling Business Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting business performance through data-driven financial analysis and insightful reporting. Working closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams, you will help ensure sound financial decision-making and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainable growth. Your contribution to something big: Monitoring and analyzing profit and loss (P&L) performance to ensure alignment with budget targets and business objectives. Preparing and analyzing financial reports on overhead costs, budget variances, and key performance indicators. Supporting monthly closing activities and ensuring accurate financial reporting in SAP. Providing meaningful insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial data and business performance metrics. Collaborating with directors and managers to identify efficiency improvements and cost optimization opportunities. Preparing recurring and ad-hoc management reports to support decision-making processes. Contributing to the continuous improvement of controlling, reporting, and financial analysis processes.

What distinguishes you: Education Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Experience Experience in financial controlling, business controlling, cost accounting, financial planning, or financial analysis. Experience working with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis is considered an advantage. Know-how Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable business insights. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of SAP R/3 or SAP S/4HANA is an advantage. Knowledge of Power BI and Power Query is a plus. Understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, variance analysis, and key performance indicators. Languages Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken. Working Style and Methods Structured, detail-oriented, and data-driven way of working. Ability to manage priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment. Continuous improvement mindset with a proactive approach to challenges. Personality Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Collaborative team player with the ability to build relationships across different functions and organizational levels.
