Contract type: Fixed Term Contract – 18 months Location: Alderley Park or Edinburgh Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Marketing Consultant to join our UK Marketing team. This role will be part of a team shaping the future of the Workplace proposition at Royal London, to ensure it delivers great customer outcomes and achieves our ambitious growth strategy. We’re looking for an experienced marketing professional to use market knowledge, audience insight and marketing expertise to develop effective content and activity for the workplace pensions market. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in helping Royal London deliver an excellent experience for employers and members. About the role • Develop employer and employee marketing content and activity to support growth in Royal London’s workplace pension business • Use research, insight and market trends to understand audience needs and identify opportunities for effective marketing activity • Collaborate with stakeholders across Brand and Marketing, Proposition and Distribution to deliver plans on time and within budget • Champion Royal London’s brand positioning and customer experience, ensuring outputs meet brand governance and regulatory standards • Manage agencies where required, supporting efficient delivery of marketing activity against business objectives • Promote best practice, continuous improvement and the use of digital capability to improve efficiency and the end user experience About you • Experience of marketing planning and delivery, ideally within financial services or workplace pensions • Strong understanding of marketing communication tools and techniques, with good copywriting and content writing skills • Ability to use data, research and insight to shape marketing activity and understand audience needs • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence others • Experience working in agile delivery or large-scale change environments would be beneficial • Understanding of regulatory requirements, including Consumer Duty, GDPR and broader financial services legislation.
