Full stack .NET/Angular PrimeNG Developer

About The Role
Responsibilities
- •       Design, develop, and maintain backend services in .NET exposing REST APIs consumed by internal applications.
- •       Build modern, accessible web interfaces in Angular with PrimeNG, contributing to a consistent design system across applications.
- •       Implement event-driven integration patterns using ActiveMQ or equivalent message brokers, following the Persist / Notify / Fetch architecture.
- •       Containerise applications and contribute to deployment manifests, Helm charts, and CI/CD pipelines for a Kubernetes-based runtime.
- •       Integrate with the institutional identity service (OIDC-based) for authentication and authorisation.
- •       Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; participate in code reviews and pair programming.
- •       Work within an Agile@PM² delivery alongside business analysts, architects, and the design office.
- •       Contribute to technical documentation, ADRs, and knowledge transfer to GSC staff.

Required Skills and Experience
- •       3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- •       Strong backend development in .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, REST API design).
- •       Strong frontend development in Angular (recent versions) with PrimeNG, TypeScript, and modern component architecture.
- •       Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, or equivalent).
- •       Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or SQL Server) and basic data modelling.
- •       Familiarity with OIDC, OAuth 2.0, and API security patterns.
- •       Experience integrating with asynchronous messaging systems (ActiveMQ, Kafka, or similar).
- •       Solid testing discipline (unit, integration, contract).
- •       Working proficiency in English; ability to engage with non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have
- •       Prior experience delivering software within an EU institution or a comparable regulated public-sector environment.
- •       Familiarity with BPMN, ArchiMate, or other modelling notations.
- •       Exposure to accessibility standards (WCAG) for public-sector applications.
- •       Experience working in plateau-based or phased delivery programmes with multiple dependencies.
