**Main Purpose of the Role**

Welocalize is looking for an **English** into **Corsican** freelance translator and proofreader with experience in the field of Marketing, UI and Product/Service related documents for an ongoing translation and proofreading project for a leading multinational technology company.

This is an on-going freelance and remote position.

**Project Details**

Location: Remote

Expected Volume: Approximately 500 to 1,000 words per week

Employment Type: Freelance/Independent Contract

CAT Tool: Client specific CAT tool (training provided)
### REQUIREMENTS

• Native or near‑native proficiency in **Corsican (Corsu)** with excellent command of US English
• Proven experience translating English to Corsican content
• **2+ years** of professional translation experience with a **degree** in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field

OR

• **5+ years** of professional translation experience without a formal translation degree
• Demonstrated experience translating informational, marketing, product, service, online help, and UI content
• Experience using **CAT tools**
• Strong understanding of marketing tone, brand voice, and customer‑facing communication
• Excellent attention to detail, terminological consistency, and linguistic accuracy
• Ability to deliver high‑quality translations while meeting deadlines
• Flexible, reliable, and responsive in a fast‑paced localization environment
• Strong communication skills and openness to feedback and revisions
