### Accountabilities
The Director of Operations will own the operational health of the organization, ensuring teams, processes, and systems are designed to scale effectively. Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee end-to-end operational performance, identifying inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities to improve business outcomes.
- Lead Business Operations teams to ensure smooth daily execution while continuously improving workflows, processes, and operational systems.
- Partner with technology teams to develop scalable operational infrastructure and enhance internal tools and processes.
- Manage supply chain operations, ensuring products move efficiently from manufacturing through fulfillment while balancing cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Lead customer support operations, improving service quality, responsiveness, tooling, and customer experience.
- Establish data-driven insights and feedback loops by analyzing operational metrics, customer trends, and business performance indicators.
- Develop research processes and tools that enable teams to better understand customer and partner needs.
- Build, optimize, and scale operational processes to support rapid company growth.
- Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams including engineering, product, finance, and external partners to drive operational excellence.
- Identify strategic improvements that reduce costs, increase efficiency, and strengthen overall business performance.
## Requirements
The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands-on operations leader with experience scaling teams, processes, and systems in high-growth environments. Required qualifications include:
- 8+ years of experience in operations, business operations, or a related leadership role.
- Proven experience designing and scaling processes and teams within a rapidly growing organization.
- Experience working in high-growth D2C, e-commerce, marketplace, or technology-driven environments is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify operational challenges, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Experience managing manufacturing, supply chain, or external operational partners while balancing cost, quality, and speed.
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence teams across engineering, product, finance, and business functions.
- Experience leading customer-facing or support teams is a plus.
- Experience building operational functions from the ground up in a startup or scaling company is preferred.
- Familiarity with creator economy, crowdfunding, merchandise, apparel, or global manufacturing operations is an advantage.
- Experience managing outsourced research, agency relationships, or international partners is beneficial.
- Mandarin fluency is considered a plus.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making skills.
