The Director, FP&A will provide strategic financial leadership and business partnership to support a growing healthcare-focused business unit. This role will translate complex financial data into actionable insights that drive profitability, operational excellence, and informed decision-making. Working closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams, the position will oversee planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical capabilities with a commercial mindset and the ability to influence business strategy. Accountabilities

The Director, FP&A will serve as a key finance partner to business leaders, providing strategic insights, financial guidance, and operational support. The role will focus on strengthening financial processes, improving reporting accuracy, and enabling data-driven decisions across assigned business areas.

  • Partner with finance leadership and business unit stakeholders to support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis activities.
  • Lead and support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes by incorporating business assumptions, risks, opportunities, and strategic priorities.
  • Prepare and review monthly financial results, variance analyses, KPI reporting, dashboards, and management reporting packages.
  • Identify key business drivers impacting revenue, margin, EBITDA, staffing, utilization, and overall operating performance.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations related to investments, pricing strategies, staffing models, project performance, and profitability.
  • Collaborate with Accounting, Client Finance, FP&A teams, and business partners to improve reporting quality and support timely financial close activities.
  • Drive standardization of finance processes, reporting tools, dashboards, templates, and operating metrics.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analyses and special projects, translating findings into actionable recommendations for leadership.
  • Lead, coach, and develop finance team members by setting priorities, providing guidance, and promoting continuous improvement.
  • Support broader finance initiatives and other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will bring extensive FP&A experience, strong business acumen, and the ability to communicate financial insights effectively with senior stakeholders. This role requires a strategic thinker who can operate hands-on in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail and execution.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant finance, accounting, or FP&A experience.
  • Proven experience supporting financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business performance analysis.
  • Strong ability to interpret complex financial information and translate it into clear business recommendations.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, BI dashboards, and ERP systems.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with a focus on business impact.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and developing finance professionals.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, high-growth environment with changing priorities.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism when handling confidential information.
