### Accountabilities
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will own end-to-end recruiting efforts for highly specialized infrastructure roles while acting as a trusted advisor to hiring teams. You will develop sourcing strategies, manage candidate relationships, and contribute to improving talent processes across the organization.
- Manage full-cycle recruiting activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding support for infrastructure-focused positions.
- Identify, engage, and attract high-quality candidates across specialized areas such as aviation, transportation, surveying, water, and energy.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, define search strategies, and provide market insights throughout the hiring process.
- Conduct effective intake meetings to gather detailed role requirements and develop compelling job descriptions and candidate messaging.
- Deliver an outstanding experience for candidates and hiring leaders through clear communication, organization, and consistent follow-up.
- Build proactive recruitment strategies using diverse sourcing channels, talent communities, networking groups, and industry connections.
- Maintain accurate candidate records, notes, and pipeline information within applicant tracking systems.
- Evaluate recruiting tools, processes, and strategies to improve efficiency, quality, and hiring outcomes.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition teammates and HR partners to continuously improve recruiting practices and service delivery.
- Support diversity recruiting initiatives by identifying qualified candidates from a broad range of backgrounds and communities.
- Negotiate offers, provide market guidance, and partner with stakeholders to successfully close candidates.
- Contribute to retention efforts by supporting effective hiring practices and improving the new hire experience.
## Requirements
The ideal candidate is an experienced technical recruiter with a strong background in infrastructure talent acquisition, excellent communication skills, and the ability to operate independently in a complex environment.
- 10+ years of experience recruiting technical professionals.
- 5+ years of experience recruiting infrastructure professionals, including areas such as aviation, transportation, surveying, water, energy, or related engineering disciplines.
- Experience managing technical sourcing, recruiting, or talent acquisition initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of employment trends, recruiting best practices, and relevant hiring regulations.
- Proven ability to source, engage, assess, and close highly sought-after candidates.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to develop customized recruitment strategies based on business needs and market conditions.
- Experience recruiting across different regions and understanding varied talent markets.
- Prior experience recruiting within architecture, engineering, or geospatial industries is preferred.
- Strong relationship-building skills with a service-oriented and collaborative approach.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and solve problems with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback, influence stakeholders, and contribute positively within remote and distributed teams.
