### Accountabilities
The Quality & Regulatory Systems Manager will oversee critical quality management processes, supplier governance, and regulatory compliance initiatives while driving continuous improvement across the organization.
- Lead supplier quality and contract manufacturer approval programs to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
- Develop supplier scorecards, monitor performance metrics, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate supplier and external manufacturing audits in partnership with internal quality and sourcing teams.
- Manage Quality Management System (QMS) processes, including document control, change management, CAPAs, non-conformances, variances, and master documentation.
- Maintain centralized document management systems, ensuring accurate version control, approvals, distribution, and accessibility.
- Design and improve quality workflows, repositories, and tracking tools that support scalability and operational efficiency.
- Develop quality dashboards, KPIs, executive reports, and supplier performance metrics to monitor system effectiveness.
- Analyze quality data, identify trends and risks, and implement corrective actions to strengthen compliance and operational performance.
- Manage regulatory registrations, renewals, labeling requirements, and compliance activities across applicable jurisdictions.
- Support commercialization efforts by ensuring supplier approvals, material qualifications, packaging reviews, and regulatory requirements are completed on schedule.
- Coordinate change management initiatives and facilitate collaboration across quality, regulatory, R&D, supply chain, operations, and external partners.
- Build scalable governance processes that support innovation while maintaining regulatory compliance and product quality.
## Requirements
The ideal candidate combines expertise in quality systems, regulatory compliance, supplier management, and continuous improvement with strong analytical and project management capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with at least 7 years in quality, regulatory, or related disciplines.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Supplier Quality, Food Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of FDA, USDA, AAFCO, animal food regulations, supplier quality systems, state registrations, and external manufacturing oversight.
- Experience managing Quality Management Systems (QMS), document control, change management, supplier governance, and specification management.
- Proven ability to develop dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and reporting tools using quality and operational data.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, evaluate risks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent project management skills with experience managing multiple priorities and cross-functional programs.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all organizational levels.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and business analysis capabilities.
