Accountabilities

  • Manage a portfolio of client accounts, acting as the primary point of contact while ensuring clear communication, high client satisfaction, and timely delivery of all engagements.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to contribute to the strategic direction of the accounting and advisory practice and support quality improvement initiatives.
  • Lead and coordinate both remote and in-person team members, managing workloads, schedules, and participation in client meetings and business planning activities.
  • Review monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting reports, performing final quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency.
  • Mentor, coach, and support team members through ongoing training, constructive feedback, and professional development initiatives.
  • Leverage technology and best practices to improve service delivery, encourage knowledge sharing, and foster strong collaboration across engagement teams.
  • Promote operational excellence by maintaining high standards of client service, financial accuracy, and process efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of management-level accounting experience, with at least 3 years working in an accounting firm or public accounting environment.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple client engagements simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience supervising, mentoring, and developing accounting professionals.
  • Excellent client relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and provide advisory support.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong commitment to integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
  • Proficiency with modern accounting technologies and digital collaboration tools.
  • French or another foreign language is considered an asset.
