Accountabilities

The Director of Storefront will lead the end-to-end digital commerce strategy, ensuring the storefront ecosystem delivers exceptional customer experiences while maximizing revenue opportunities. This role requires strong commercial leadership, cross-functional influence, and expertise in scaling digital products and customer journeys.

  • Define and execute the storefront vision, roadmap, and operating model to support business growth objectives.
  • Lead the complete digital customer journey across acquisition, purchasing, onboarding, renewal, and expansion touchpoints.
  • Own storefront performance, including conversion optimization, customer experience, revenue growth, and operational effectiveness.
  • Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams across eCommerce, merchandising, analytics, optimization, and customer experience.
  • Establish KPIs, reporting frameworks, governance processes, and operating rhythms to drive accountability and measurable outcomes.
  • Drive revenue growth through improved conversion rates, average order value, customer lifetime value, renewals, cross-selling, and product adoption.
  • Develop monetization strategies including pricing optimization, bundling, promotions, personalization, and lifecycle engagement initiatives.
  • Lead digital merchandising, checkout optimization, product presentation, and self-service purchasing experiences.
  • Create a culture of experimentation through A/B testing, personalization, analytics, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to influence commerce platform investments and technology strategies.
  • Use customer behavior, revenue insights, and analytics to identify growth opportunities and guide investment decisions.
  • Champion customer-first experiences across desktop, mobile, and emerging digital channels.
  • Drive organizational alignment, change management, and collaboration across multiple business functions.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is an experienced digital commerce leader with a proven ability to scale online businesses, optimize customer journeys, and manage revenue-driving initiatives. They should combine strategic vision with strong execution skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, Economics, or a related field.
  • 8–10+ years of leadership experience in digital commerce, eCommerce, growth, product, online marketplaces, or related environments.
  • 4–6+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams and complex initiatives.
  • Proven ownership of digital revenue performance, budgets, and P&L responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated success scaling digital storefronts and improving conversion, retention, and customer lifetime value.
  • Strong understanding of subscription-based business models, SaaS, digital services, or similar industries.
  • Expertise in digital merchandising, conversion rate optimization (CRO), pricing strategy, customer lifecycle management, and experimentation frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using customer and revenue data to drive decisions.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience operating in high-growth, transformation-focused, or private equity-backed environments is preferred.
  • Experience managing global teams and multi-market digital businesses is a plus.
  • Familiarity with web hosting, domains, cybersecurity, website builders, or related digital services is preferred.
