### Accountabilities
The Commission Analyst will play a key role in maintaining reliable sales incentive compensation processes by ensuring accurate calculations, supporting reporting activities, and resolving commission-related inquiries. This position requires strong attention to detail, ownership of deadlines, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams.
- Administer daily commission operations through incentive compensation platforms, including workflow maintenance, updates, and payout processing.
- Review, investigate, and resolve commission inquiries from internal stakeholders with clear communication and thorough documentation.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc commission calculations, validations, reconciliations, and payroll submissions across domestic and international teams.
- Assist with month-end and quarter-end close activities, including reporting, accrual support, and issue resolution.
- Perform manual commission calculations and audit reviews to validate system outputs, resolve discrepancies, and support special payout scenarios.
- Partner with Finance, Sales, Payroll, and other business teams to improve processes, increase accuracy, and maintain operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to enhance commission workflows, documentation, and reporting practices.
- Use analytical tools and responsible AI applications to improve research, modeling, and routine communication while maintaining strong judgment and accountability.
## Requirements
The ideal candidate brings experience in sales incentive compensation, finance operations, or related analytical roles, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage complex processes in a remote environment. You should be comfortable working with compensation systems, analyzing data, and communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- 4+ years of experience in sales incentive compensation, commissions operations, finance operations, or a related field.
- Experience working with enterprise compensation platforms such as CaptivateIQ, Xactly, Salesforce, or similar systems; CaptivateIQ experience is preferred.
- Ability to manually calculate commissions and validate payouts to identify discrepancies and maintain audit-ready accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience collaborating across teams and time zones.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote-first environment while maintaining accountability and transparency.
- Willingness to continue learning compensation technologies, processes, and best practices.
