### Accountabilities

As an Account Manager, you will own strategic customer relationships and revenue outcomes by developing account strategies, managing complex sales cycles, and ensuring customer success. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drive revenue retention, bookings, and multi-product expansion across an assigned portfolio of K–12 enterprise accounts.
  • Develop and execute quarterly territory plans based on account opportunities, customer priorities, adoption gaps, and growth strategies.
  • Build qualified pipeline through executive outreach, targeted sales plays, and multi-threaded engagement across key stakeholders including education leaders, technology executives, finance teams, and procurement teams.
  • Manage the complete sales process from discovery through contract execution, including RFP strategy, pricing discussions, commercial approvals, legal negotiations, and procurement coordination.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene by tracking opportunities, activities, contacts, next steps, and sales milestones.
  • Partner with internal teams including Solution Consulting, Services, Customer Success, and external partners to support customer value realization and renewal readiness.
  • Lead executive business reviews, strategic conversations, and solution discussions that strengthen customer relationships.
  • Gather market insights and customer feedback to support improvements in products, pricing strategies, and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Mentor and support other sales professionals by sharing best practices around executive engagement, sales strategy, and structured deal execution.
  • Travel regularly, approximately 50–60%, to support strategic customer engagements, onsite demonstrations, executive workshops, and high-priority initiatives.

## Requirements

The ideal candidate is an experienced enterprise sales professional with a strong track record of managing complex accounts, driving expansion, and building executive-level relationships. Required qualifications include:

  • 8+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience, preferably within CRM, ERP, analytics, education technology, or related software industries.
  • Demonstrated success achieving bookings, revenue retention, and expansion targets across assigned enterprise accounts.
  • Experience managing long sales cycles involving cross-functional teams, multiple decision-makers, and public-sector procurement processes.
  • Proven ability to develop executive relationships with stakeholders such as CIOs, CFOs, CHROs, superintendents, curriculum leaders, and procurement teams.
  • Strong pipeline management and forecasting discipline using CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Experience with structured sales methodologies and deal management frameworks such as MEDDPICC.
  • Ability to create strategic territory plans, identify whitespace opportunities, and execute account growth strategies.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with sales overlays, customer success teams, professional services, and business partners.
  • Experience working with K–12 education organizations or public-sector customers is preferred.
  • Familiarity with education funding cycles, RFP processes, board approvals, and purchasing frameworks is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
