Accountabilities

The Sr. Business Sourcer will play a key role in strengthening the talent acquisition pipeline by developing targeted sourcing strategies, engaging exceptional candidates, and improving sourcing processes across business and corporate teams.

  • Own end-to-end top-of-funnel sourcing activities, including role calibration, search strategy development, candidate identification, outreach, and qualified candidate handoff.
  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to define ideal candidate profiles, understand business needs, and translate requirements into effective search strategies.
  • Build and maintain high-quality pipelines of active and passive talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean and X-ray searches, outbound campaigns, referrals, professional communities, and talent rediscovery.
  • Deliver diverse, high-signal candidate slates while ensuring a positive candidate experience through thoughtful communication and seamless recruiter transitions.
  • Use AI tools and large language models to automate repetitive workflows, personalize outreach, improve research processes, and increase sourcing efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze sourcing metrics, including pipeline health, response rates, conversion rates, and slate quality, using insights to continuously optimize strategies.
  • Create and maintain sourcing documentation, search frameworks, and reusable tools that improve team scalability and consistency.
  • Share market intelligence and talent insights with recruiting partners and business stakeholders to support informed hiring decisions.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is an experienced sourcing professional with a strong track record of identifying and engaging exceptional talent across business functions. This person combines strategic thinking, technical sourcing expertise, and strong relationship-building skills.

  • 8+ years of dedicated sourcing experience, gained through in-house recruiting, agency, or executive search environments, supporting business and corporate functions.
  • 2+ years of experience sourcing senior-level candidates, including Senior Manager through Director-level talent.
  • Deep expertise with LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, X-ray search methods, CRM platforms, and sourcing technologies.
  • Proven ability to build diverse, high-quality talent pipelines across individual contributor and leadership roles.
  • Strong outbound recruiting skills with the ability to create personalized messaging and engagement strategies that generate candidate interest.
  • Experience using AI-powered tools or large language models for sourcing automation, outreach personalization, and workflow optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems such as Ashby or similar platforms, with the ability to leverage recruiting data effectively.
  • Strong collaboration skills with recruiters, hiring managers, and cross-functional partners, supported by clear communication and market insights.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to transform hiring needs into actionable search strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes, introduce creative sourcing approaches, and contribute to a collaborative, low-ego team environment.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and adapt quickly in a fast-changing environment.
