### Accountabilities
The Senior Account Executive will oversee client relationships, project execution, and internal coordination to ensure high-quality healthcare marketing solutions are delivered on time and within scope. This role serves as a central point of contact between clients, internal teams, and project stakeholders while supporting business growth initiatives.
- Manage communications with internal teams and clients, ensuring alignment on project status, priorities, and deliverables.
- Act as the primary contact for assigned client projects, maintaining strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.
- Coordinate project planning, timelines, milestones, budgets, and resources in collaboration with project management teams.
- Drive daily project activities by managing scope, identifying risks, resolving challenges, and ensuring successful delivery.
- Support the development of new business opportunities, including proposals, pitch presentations, and account growth initiatives.
- Collaborate with content experts and cross-functional teams to develop effective marketing communication programs.
- Facilitate medical, legal, and regulatory review processes to ensure materials meet compliance requirements.
- Monitor project financials, including budgets, forecasts, reconciliations, and out-of-scope activities.
- Prepare client updates, contact reports, executive summaries, and project documentation.
- Contribute to process improvements and help strengthen team collaboration and operational excellence.
## Requirements
The ideal candidate brings healthcare marketing experience, strong client management capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. They should combine strategic thinking with strong execution skills and demonstrate confidence working with pharmaceutical and life sciences clients.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.
- 2+ years of combined account management and project management experience within a pharmaceutical agency environment.
- Experience managing direct client relationships and leading client-facing communications.
- Background in healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical, or life sciences marketing preferred.
- Familiarity with medical-legal-regulatory (MLR) review processes and promotional compliance requirements.
- Experience developing project briefs, statements of work (SOWs), and client proposals.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple clients, brands, and projects while maintaining quality under tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, collaborative approach.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with digital submission platforms such as Zinc or Veeva is preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel occasionally, up to approximately 5%.
