### Accountabilities

The Director of Product Management will be responsible for defining product strategy, leading product execution, developing a high-performing team, and ensuring product decisions are aligned with customer needs and business objectives.

  • Own product strategy, roadmap planning, and execution for core platform experiences while identifying opportunities in adjacent product areas.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 4–6 product managers through hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management.
  • Partner with Engineering and Design leadership to drive roadmap execution, product quality, delivery velocity, and operational excellence.
  • Establish product management frameworks, processes, documentation standards, and team practices that improve decision-making and execution.
  • Drive alignment across product, engineering, design, and go-to-market teams around priorities, customer needs, pricing, packaging, and product opportunities.
  • Represent product strategy in executive discussions and commercial conversations, bringing customer insights and market perspective into decision-making.
  • Create clear success metrics and hold teams accountable for measurable outcomes rather than feature delivery alone.
  • Evaluate product-market fit, identify areas for improvement, and proactively communicate risks, opportunities, and strategic recommendations.
  • Build a strong product culture focused on ownership, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to creating a scalable, high-performing product organization capable of supporting long-term growth.

## Requirements

The ideal candidate is an experienced product leader with a strong track record of building successful products, managing teams, and connecting product strategy to customer and commercial impact.

  • 10–15+ years of product management experience, including 3–5+ years managing product teams.
  • Demonstrated experience owning and scaling a core product area that became central to business success.
  • Strong people leadership skills with the ability to develop talent, build team culture, and maintain high performance standards.
  • Deep customer empathy and experience designing products where trust, usability, and customer outcomes are critical.
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to connect product decisions to revenue growth and validated customer demand.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments while defining priorities and success criteria.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with experience partnering closely with engineering, design, sales, and executive teams.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Direct, collaborative, and constructive leadership style with a focus on building strong teams.
  • Experience in fintech, financial services, advisor-facing products, AI-powered platforms, or data-intensive SaaS solutions is a plus.
  • Previous experience scaling a product organization in a startup or high-growth environment is preferred.
