### Accountabilities

The Software Development Engineer III will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining production-level software while contributing to technical strategy and engineering excellence. The role requires strong ownership, collaboration, and the ability to deliver scalable solutions across complex systems.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions in collaboration with engineering and product teams.
• Build and enhance systems that connect platforms, services, and external integrations while ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Become a technical expert in key areas of the codebase and maintain a strong understanding of overall system architecture.
• Provide technical guidance, participate in architecture discussions, and influence engineering decisions across teams.
• Research and recommend new technologies, tools, and approaches to improve product capabilities and development efficiency.
• Break down complex projects into clear milestones and consistently deliver features on schedule.
• Own technical testing strategies, performance considerations, and production readiness for assigned projects.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges, proactively address technical debt, and improve system maintainability.
• Contribute to code reviews, documentation, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to improve team capabilities.
• Support service-level design decisions while balancing technical requirements, business priorities, and customer needs.
• Participate in architectural reviews and provide feedback on solutions beyond the immediate team scope.

## **Requirements:**

The ideal candidate is an experienced software engineer with strong development expertise, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a track record of delivering scalable applications. They should be comfortable working independently, collaborating across teams, and driving projects from design through implementation.

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong programming skills with experience building production-level applications.
• Hands-on experience with C#, .NET, <ASP.NET> MVC, SQL, and database design.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software engineering best practices.
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs using technologies such as JavaScript and JSON.
• Ability to design, implement, and support medium to large-scale features end-to-end.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies and collaborative engineering practices.
• Strong debugging, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience automating infrastructure, deployment, and build processes.
• Knowledge of secure development practices, including OWASP principles and defensive coding approaches.
• Ability to mentor engineers through hands-on technical guidance and code reviews.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services such as Functions, WebJobs, App Services, Service Bus, Storage Queues, or DevOps is a plus.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture, service-oriented architecture, or Vue.js is beneficial.
• Passion for software quality, including automated testing, regression testing, and continuous improvement.
