The role requires strong expertise in clinical operations, stakeholder management, and strategic partnership development within a fast-paced research environment.

### Accountabilities
The Director, Clinical FSP Delivery will provide strategic leadership for major clinical partnerships, ensuring operational performance, customer satisfaction, and sustainable business growth. This role acts as a senior advisor to clients and internal stakeholders, managing complex delivery models while identifying opportunities for expansion and continuous improvement.
- Lead and maintain strategic relationships with global, multiregional, or high-value Clinical FSP customers, serving as a primary escalation point and trusted business partner.
- Oversee delivery performance against contractual commitments, including KPIs, milestones, quality standards, audits, financial objectives, and service expectations.
- Develop and execute customer strategies focused on operational excellence, risk management, relationship growth, and long-term partnership success.
- Support and lead RFPs, RFIs, bid defenses, proposals, and contract negotiations in collaboration with business development and cross-functional teams.
- Establish effective governance frameworks and operating models to ensure timely, high-quality clinical service delivery.
- Manage onboarding activities for new FSP programs, coordinating internal teams to enable smooth implementation and execution.
- Monitor financial performance, forecasting, budgets, payment terms, and profitability of assigned partnerships.
- Guide and develop FSP delivery teams, providing leadership, mentorship, and strategic direction to senior operational stakeholders.
- Partner with clinical, regulatory, finance, pricing, and operational teams to resolve challenges and optimize client outcomes.
- Identify opportunities for service expansion, innovation, process improvement, and enhanced customer value.
- Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and evolving clinical research requirements to support strategic initiatives.
## Requirements
The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in clinical research operations, pharmaceutical services, and strategic client management. They should combine strong business acumen with exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities to successfully manage complex partnerships.
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business Management, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
- 10+ years of relevant experience within the CRO, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or clinical research industry.
- At least 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience within clinical research or healthcare environments.
- Strong understanding of the drug development process and Clinical FSP delivery models.
- Proven experience managing large-scale or complex global/multiregional client partnerships.
- Demonstrated success in customer engagement, partnership expansion, executive communication, and strategic negotiations.
- Strong knowledge of FSP operating models, commercial agreements, and service delivery frameworks.
- Ability to lead independently, influence stakeholders, and drive results within a matrix organization.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate strategy into actionable solutions.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with executive-level audiences.
- Ability to travel approximately 20–40%, including overnight travel when required.
- Comfortable working in a remote/home-based environment with occasional extended working hours.
