Join Aprio's **Tax Team** and help Real Estate clients uncover opportunities others miss. Aprio is a top 20, fast-growing firm, and we're looking for a **Senior Tax Manager** to join our Real Estate practice.

### Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing tax planning, compliance, and consulting services tailored to their needs.
- Stay current on industry trends, tax laws, and regulations so we can help clients with forward-looking tax strategies.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of learning, growth, and collaboration.
### Qualifications
- CPA or other relevant credential required.
- Recent experience with a public accounting firm.
- 10 or more years of federal tax consulting and/or compliance experience in public accounting, with a focus on the Real Estate industry.
- Deep knowledge of partnership taxation and understanding of real estate ownership structures.
- Experience with investment partnerships and real estate funds, including complex allocations, waterfall structures, and tiered ownership.
- Familiarity with real estate–specific tax strategies such as 1031 like-kind exchanges, cost segregation and depreciation planning, passive activity rules, and multistate tax (SALT) and property tax compliance.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with tax software and technology.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Master's degree in Taxation preferred.
