The

Industrial Painter

will act as a key member of the assembly operations unit when taking ownership of critical paint requirements in engine production. This involves preparing engines throughout all stages of the paint process, inclusive of washing, masking & final detailing.

In this role you will also

manage scheduled routine maintenance of paint tools, systems & applicable equipment.

  • all non-conformities to support root cause analysis when improving assembly processes

  • Perform basic assembly related repairs when non-conformances are found during final inspection review

  • the start-up and shutdown processes of the paint wash booths and ensur

  • the required booth temperatures and safety resets are functioning

  • during paint process, following proper cleaning procedure and adjustment of gun fluid

  • Track inventory of gun parts, consumables and other materials used in the area

  • the 2KS system to correctly introduce paint throughout the lines and perform necessary troubleshooting when needed

  • Follow work instructions to successfully identify parts of the engine to be masked before paint
  • .
  • Detail engines by hand painting all raised lettering, performing paint touch-ups, and applying grease to necessary exposed parts on the engine
  • .

Manag

  • e
  • proper function of the paint kitchen by identifying correct motor pressures and ensuring adequate inventory levels of paints, solvents & catalyst
  • .
  • Conduct all scheduled preventative maintenance on all paint and wash systems to ensure optimal operation and alignment with manufacturer specifications

  • What you’ll bring
  • High school diploma and/or relevant professional spray paint experience.
  • Knowledge of required tools & equipment, such as the operation of paint guns and ability to calibrate both gauges and measuring equipment
  • .

initial extended trip (1-2 months) to Jenbach, Austria for training. Additional travel may be required for additional training.
