Development Lead/Architect

IgniteAction is seeking an experienced

Development Lead/Architect

to lead the design and delivery of scalable, high-quality software solutions. This role requires deep experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular), backend development in Java, JavaScript, Python, or Go, SQL-based data stores, and a strong ability to drive code quality, mentor developers, review pull requests, and optimize system and application performance.

Key Responsibilities

Feature Architecture

Designing small-to-medium systems

Code Quality

Writing clean, testable code

Review PRs

Conduct code review before deployment and coach developers on any issues discovered

API

Foundational understanding of RESTful or GraphQL APIs that are intuitive for other team members to use.

Performance

Identifying and fixing bottlenecks, from slow SQL queries to bloated frontend bundles.

Team Development

Coach and mentor mid-junior developers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 8 years of experience

Work Authorization

Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain or maintain Public Trust (High) clearance.
