Senior Developer

IgniteAction

is seeking an experienced

Senior Level Developer

to design and build scalable, high-quality software and data solutions. The ideal candidate has experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular), backend development in Java, JavaScript, Python, or Go, SQL-based data stores, and strong experience with ETL processes, data pipelines, and AWS CloudFormation. This role requires a strong focus on clean code, API design, performance optimization, and collaborative code reviews.

Key Responsibilities

Feature Architecture

: Designing small-to-medium systems, including scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows

Code

• Quality: Writing clean, testable code, c
• onduct peer code reviews to help keep the codebase sane.

API

Foundational understanding of RESTful or GraphQL APIs that are intuitive for other team members to use.

Performance

Identifying and fixing bottlenecks, from slow SQL queries to bloated frontend bundles and inefficient data pipelines

Data Engineering

Build, maintain, and optimize ETL processes and end-to-end data pipelines

Cloud Infrastructure

: Develop and manage infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation

Skill Area

What’s Expected

System Design

Understanding database normalization, load balancing, basic microservices, and data pipeline architecture

DevOps

Ability to debug a failing CI/CD pipeline, manage environment variables safely, and support AWS environments

Testing

Writing unit tests and End-to-End tests as standard practice.

Soft Skills

Explaining technical trade-offs to product managers and mentoring junior developers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 8 years of experience relative experience

Work Authorization

Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain or maintain Public Trust (High) clearance.
