Client Partner, Insurance
obin-ai · New York, USA
About The Role
**The Role**
Obin drives strategic growth in financial services by leading critical transformations across Insurance Advisory, Claims, Financial Planning, and the Investment Office.
We are looking for a seasoned Client Partner to own this relationship end to end: taking expansion initiatives from
initial reimagination, through executive workshops, to real-world execution.
This is a senior, client-facing role for someone who can operate as a trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholders at a major financial institution, while also acting as an internal industry expert —shaping how Obin positions its pitch and product to win and expand this account, and others like it in the insurance vertical.
**What You will Do**
- Own and grow the commercial relationship with Obin's flagship insurance clients, serving as the primary point of contact across new expansion opportunities.
- Lead client-facing workshops that translate ambitious, firmwide transformation goals into concrete, scoped initiatives Obin can deliver against.
- Represent Obin credibly in front of senior executives.
- Partner closely with Obin's forward-deployed, product, and engineering teams —alongside AMs — to shape and pilot new initiatives, then drive them to signed, funded engagements, handing off to the delivery team for execution.
- Act as the internal voice of the client, ensuring stakeholders across product, commercial,
engineering, and delivery understand context, priorities, and stakeholder dynamics.
- Serve as an industry expert on insurance, sharpening how Obin positions its pitch, roadmap, and product narrative — both for this deal and for the vertical's broader go-to-market strategy.
**What We are Looking For**
- 12+ years of experience, with a strong insurance background and consulting experience.
- Deep understanding of the insurance industry's operating model and the business and regulatory context that shapes technology transformation there.
- Experience working closely with product and technology teams, and comfort operating at the intersection of commercial and technical conversations.
- A track record managing and growing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise relationships, ideally including firmwide or cross-business-unit transformation initiatives.
- Experience running executive-level workshops and translating ambiguous strategic goals into scoped, actionable workstreams.
- Excellent executive presence and communication skills, with credibility in front of C-suite stakeholders at major financial institutions.
- Excitement about operating in an early-stage environment, with the potential to shape both the company and the industry.
