About The Role

**About this role:**

The Journeyman Electrician performs commercial electrical service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and small‑project installations across a variety of commercial facilities. This role requires a valid Journeyman Electrician License and strong technical skill in diagnosing and resolving electrical issues in active, occupied buildings.

**Compensation:**

  • **$33.00 - $40.00 per hour** pending experience and active state electrical license.
  • Travel expenses paid
  • Vehicle provided
  • Fuel card

**Travel:**

  • On average 2–3-week sprints in Texas
  • Most projects are in **Texas** with some locations in nearby states.
  • Housing (Airbnb) is paid by company, travel to and from project is covered as well as per diem.
  • **Company vehicle is provided**

**Duties / Expectations:**

  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with commercial building systems, including lighting controls, switchgear, and distribution equipment
  • Apply advanced knowledge of electrical theory and NEC code
  • Perform NEC calculations
  • Execute all types of conduit bends using various bender types
  • Install raceways, boxes, cables, panels, breakers, and transformers
  • Assist with wire pulling and switchboard installation
  • Install light fixtures, devices, and cover plates
  • Connect branch circuits including terminations and equipment
  • Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Maintain basic knowledge of control systems and components
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Electrical installation work for EV charging infrastructure
  • Install, troubleshoot, and diagnose charging stations, equipment pads, switchgear, related site components
  • Communicate field issues clearly and promptly to the project team

**Minimum Qualifications:**

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years in a commercial service role.
  • Expert-level troubleshooting skills in a commercial setting.
  • Must have ability to run and lead small-size projects (1-4 electricians)
  • Possess an **active state Journeyman electrical license**
  • OSHA 10 certification
  • Ability to pass a criminal and motor vehicle background check
