Specialized Equipment Operator

Ecogest Canada is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Specialized Equipment Operator to operate and maintain versatile all-terrain machinery for various landscaping, maintenance, and land management tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience with multi-functional equipment used for mowing, grading, snow removal, and other outdoor applications in diverse terrains.

Key Qualifications

• Experience operating multi-purpose, all-terrain equipment in landscaping, municipal, or agricultural settings.
• Ability to navigate slopes, rough terrain, and challenging conditions safely.
• Mechanical knowledge for routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures when working with heavy machinery.
• Valid driver’s license (preference for Class G).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate specialized all-terrain equipment for mowing, vegetation management, and land maintenance.
• Utilize attachments for tasks such as mulching, grading, snow removal, and material transport.
• Ensure safe operation on slopes, uneven ground, and challenging landscapes.
• Perform daily equipment inspections, routine maintenance, and minor repairs as needed.
• Monitor equipment performance and report any issues to the maintenance team.
• Adhere to all company safety guidelines and industry regulations.
• Assist with additional landscaping or maintenance tasks as required.

Compensation

• Target hiring range:

CA$24.00-CA$25.00 per hour

• Compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
