Vehicle Wash Attendant - Hyundai Northshore

Jim Pattison Hyundai Northshore is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Vehicle Wash Attendant to join our Service team. In this role, you'll help ensure every customer vehicle is cleaned and prepared to a high standard before it's returned, helping create a great final impression of the dealership.

Salary: $18.25 to $20.00 hourly

Location: 855 Automall Dr, North Vancouver, BC V7P 3R8

A Day in the Life

• Maintain and monitor the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of our customer vehicles, including exterior washing and interior cleaning
• Maneuver, arrange, and relocate guest vehicles with care
• Ensure any potential issues with vehicles or the dealership property are promptly reported
• Safe use of tools, equipment, and cleaning supplies
• Ensure a high degree of confidentiality with company and customer information
• Participate in maintaining a supportive and engaging working environment
• Other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• A valid BC Driver’s license is required, including a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract report
• Previous experience in the automotive industry is considered a strong asset
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmissions is preferred
• Strong customer-service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• This is a physically active role and requires the following:
• Frequent walking throughout the dealership building and lot
• Walking and/or standing for long periods
• Frequent operation of automatic and manual transmission vehicles
• Washing vehicles, which may include use of various cleaning products and frequent bending, crouching, and reaching
• Significant time spent outdoors in various weather, including sun, rain, wind, snow, cold, and heat. Weather conditions are monitored for safety as needed
