Freight Forwarder Import

Are you passionate about international logistics and do you enjoy coordinating export shipments from A to Z? CEVA Air & Ocean is looking for an International Freight Forwarder Export to strengthen our Antwerp team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES As an Export Freight Forwarder, you will be responsible for managing export shipments from start to finish, ensuring smooth execution and high customer satisfaction: Receive and validate customer export orders in the TMS in line with quotations and SOPs Plan and coordinate export shipments considering transit times, costs, and operational constraints Prepare and verify export documentation (commercial invoice, packing list, export customs docs, etc.) Liaise with customers, carriers, agents, and suppliers to ensure timely shipment execution Arrange bookings with carriers (air, sea, or multimodal) in collaboration with Middle Office Monitor shipment progress and proactively inform stakeholders of any deviations Ensure compliance with export regulations and documentation requirements Maintain accurate data in the TMS and generate required transport documents Prepare invoices and ensure all cost postings are correctly registered Provide updates and reports to customers and management WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR Bachelor’s degree or equivalent through experience Experience in freight forwarding (export is a plus) Fluent in Dutch, with knowledge of French and English (logistics terminology) Good knowledge of MS Office and TMS systems Proactive, solution-oriented, and stress-resistant Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset Accurate, organised, and quality-driven Team player with a hands-on mentality WHAT WE OFFER At CEVA Logistics, you will work in an international, informal, and dynamic environment within a growing organisation.
