We're Series B-backed, growing fast, and building the finance function from the ground up. About the role We're looking for an Assistant Manager – Finance to support our Finance Operations, FP&A, and Tax & Compliance functions. This role is suited for someone hands-on and keen to build and streamline finance processes in a small, fast-growing environment. What you'll own Finance operations • Track receivables & payables; keep the AR/AP MIS current • Run day-to-day banking ops — payments and bank reconciliations FP&A • Build monthly financial statements and MIS reports from scratch using advanced Excel • Improve reporting dashboards and overall finance processes • Support provisioning, budgeting, and forecasting analysis • Prepare data requirements for auditors, investors, and other external stakeholders Tax & compliance • Prepare data for GST filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and e-invoicing • Ensure TDS compliance — monthly liability, quarterly returns, and credit reconciliation What we're looking for • CA with1–2 years of experience in a finance controllership or FP&A role, preferably at a startup or Indian-incorporated entity • Solid understanding of Indian taxation and NBFC regulatory requirements • Advanced Excel skills - comfortable building financials and reports from scratch • Clear communicator who can work with multiple internal and external stakeholders • Exposure across finance ops, taxation, and FP&A is a plus • Good to have: Familiarity with FEMA, MCA compliances, and cross-border transactions If you enjoy improving finance processes, working closely with stakeholders, and being an early team member in a fast-paced startup — this role is for you.
