Job Description The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Idaho State University (ISU) seeks an outstanding clinical audiologist to expand audiology services on our Pocatello Campus, and coordinate the clinical operations of the Pocatello Audiology Clinic. Responsibilities include working in the following areas: providing a full spectrum of audiological services to adults and pediatrics, seeking opportunities to increase access to hearing health care within the community, and engaging in periodic opportunities to work with students. This position is not eligible for new visa sponsorship at this time. Candidates who already hold valid U.S. work authorization may be considered. Key Responsibilities ● Provide a broad range of clinical audiology services in Pocatello, including pediatric and adult hearing evaluations, hearing aid fittings and follow-ups, implantable device evaluations and fittings, ABR testing, VNG testing, Veterans Affairs (VA) compensation pension evaluations, tinnitus evaluations, APD evaluations, and telehealth services. ● Develop and distribute marketing materials with the assistance of Fuel Medical and/or ISU Marketing and Communications. ● Maintain audiology equipment and clinical supplies and schedule annual equipment calibration. Monitor the inventory list of all audiology equipment, including diagnostic and screening devices, and coordinate with office staff to monitor ISU inventory and equipment tags annually. ● Assist with hearing aid repairs and walk-in patients. ● Facilitate and deliver clinic satisfaction surveys, update and revise as needed, and review the survey results to implement necessary and feasible changes based on the findings. ● Collaborate with other ISU clinics to enhance community access and visibility.
