Felix Construction is seeking an Electrical Foreman to lead electrical crews in the construction of water/wastewater treatment facilities. This hands-on role involves planning, directing, and executing electrical work on industrial projects. Ideal candidates are strong communicators with advanced field experience and a commitment to safety, quality, and mentoring others.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead electrical crews in the installation and wiring of RTUs, VFDs, LCPs, switchgear, field instrumentation, and other industrial equipment.
  • Interpret and execute work packages, electrical drawings, and MOPOs (Method of Procedure).
  • Ensure crews follow all safety procedures, conduct daily safety briefings, and maintain compliance with NEC, NFPA 70, and company safety protocols.
  • Coordinate material delivery, inspect inventory, and manage tools and equipment on-site.
  • Collaborate with superintendents and project managers to meet daily and weekly goals aligned with project schedules.
  • Provide training and mentorship to less experienced electricians and laborers.
  • Track crew hours and complete weekly timecards accurately.

Who You Are

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of a 4-year electrical apprenticeship preferred
  • At least 8 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity
  • OSHA 10 certification required
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Skilled in reading blueprints, ladder diagrams, and electrical schematics
  • Familiar with conduit bending and installation (½” to 4”), switchgear setup, and control wiring
  • Comfortable using smartphones and tablets for jobsite documentation
  • Clear communicator with inspectors, engineers, and cross-functional teams
