Hardware Support Leader

Job Description

The hardware support leader focuses on the management and coordination for the new hardware requirement achievement and the hardware quality issue handling of the mass production products. The hardware support team management is another duty of the hardware support leader.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily work of the product technical support team and lead team members to well conduct the daily maintenance of the mass-production products.
• Responsible for formulating, optimizing and improving relevant processes and standard documents in the field of product technical support.
• Undertake the responsibility of cross-departmental collaboration and responsible for the efficient daily communication with the project management team, quality team, repair team and NPI team.
• Responsible for communicating and confirming the product customization requirement and the new hardware features, as well as the overall management of functional achievement, result delivery and new product version definition.
• Coordinate the technical analysis of product quality issues, manage the formulation and implementation of the solving measure, and conduct the induction and summary of problems to provide a basis for product iteration.
• Provide coordination for the product material alternative and the product certification works.

Skills Required

• Perfect the principles and working logic of the core hardware components of POS products.
• Be familiar with the product hardware development process and hardware testing standards.
• Rich experience in hardware issue analysis, as well as efficient fault diagnosis and problem fixing ability.
• Have experience or capabilities in team management and cross-departmental collaboration.
• Have efficient communication skills and fluent English listening and speaking skills.
• Understand the production process of POS products.
• Understand the industry compliance requirements for POS products.

Essential Skills

• Fluent Chinese and English communication skills (English proficiency at CET-6 level or equivalent, enabling smooth listening and speaking communication).
• 5-10 years of work experience in hardware development or maintenance. Candidates with work experience in the POS product industry are preferred.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Have good project management knowledge and a strong cost awareness.
• Skilled in using ECAD tool Cadence

Bonus Skills

• Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Electronics or related fields.
• preference given to graduates from top universities such as 211, 985, elite international institutions.
