Your Responsibilities
Patient Navigation & Advocacy

- Serve as a trusted liaison between patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and clinical research sites.
- -
- Guide patients through the clinical trial referral, screening, and enrollment journey.
- -
- Educate patients and families on clinical trial opportunities and precision medicine.
- -
- Identify and help remove barriers to care by connecting patients with appropriate resources.
- -
- Coordinate medical record collection and facilitate seamless handoffs to research sites.
- -
- Maintain ongoing communication and support throughout the patient journey.
Cross-Functional Partnership
- -
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Clinical teams to improve the patient experience.
- -
- Respond to inquiries from patients, providers, and internal stakeholders.
- -
- Provide feedback that informs new workflows, features, and service offerings.
Operations
- -
- Document patient interactions and maintain accurate case records.
- -
- Contribute to SOPs, educational content, and operational documentation.
- -
- Track key navigation metrics and prepare reports on patient outcomes and team activities.
- -
- Help build and scale Trial Library's patient navigation program as the company grows.
Your Qualifications
- -
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), or equivalent nursing degree required. An active RN or LPN license is not required.
- -
- 2+ years of experience supporting oncology patients, patient navigation, clinical research, or a related healthcare setting.
- -
- Working knowledge of clinical trials and the patient enrollment process.
- -
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex medical information to diverse audiences.
- -
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple patients, priorities, and deadlines.
- -
- Demonstrated empathy, sound judgment, and a patient-first approach.
- -
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with evolving priorities.
- -
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHRs), CRM systems, or similar healthcare technology platforms.
- -
- Experience working at an early-stage or high-growth startup.
Nice to Have
- -
- Oncology clinical trial enrollment or study coordination experience.
- -
- Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC), CCRP, or other clinical research certification.
- -
- Experience collaborating with Product, Engineering, or Operations teams to improve workflows or services.
- -
- Experience developing SOPs, patient education materials, or operational processes.
- -
- Multilingual (Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, or other languages commonly spoken by oncology patient populations).
- -
- Familiarity with precision medicine, biomarker testing, or molecular diagnostics.
