Associate/Assistant Director, Procurement (2-Year Contract)
[What you will be working on]
In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders, with responsibilities including
- Support and advise stakeholders on procurement approaches and requirements, and ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers to facilitate sourcing outcomes (e.g., quotations/tenders and clarifications)
- Review work processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness (e.g., templates, trackers and standard operating procedures)
- Coordinate procurement documentation and records to ensure completeness and proper record-keeping (e.g., approval records and supporting procurement documentation
- Support procurement processes from sourcing to award, including coordinating evaluations, internal clearances and submission write-ups
- Support other team initiatives where required (e.g., policy/process reviews, knowledge management and business continuity activities)

- Good analytical and organisational skills, with attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Able to coordinate multiple tasks and timelines, and maintain proper documentation and records
- Comfortable working with data, trackers and basic analysis to support reporting and process improvement
- Relevant experience in procurement is preferred, but candidates with strong aptitude and willingness to learn are welcome
- Relevant experience in areas such as government procurement, process management or data management and analysis, will be an advantage; candidates with strong aptitude and willingness to learn are welcome
Candidates may be considered either a permanent or contract opportunity, depending on their relevant experience. You will be working in a fast-paced environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and needs of stakeholders, as well as the agility to respond to changes and developments.
