About The Role
Position: Co Fund Manager & Dealer - Equities Location: Mumbai Position Purpose: · Dealing for Equities Team · Dealing for Arbitrage Fund · Assisting in managing the arbitrage fund Principal Accountabilities: · Execute trades for Equity Cash, Futures and Forex · Market intelligence · Broker business allocation and communication. · Liaison with Fund Management team, compliance and Operation for dealing function · Providing support to marketing team for data queries. · Handling trades for cash-futures arbitrage and rolls Cash Desk: · Excel based work like daily portfolio file updation, cash flows, weekly and monthly files and other periodic data, etc · Developing relationship with brokers and sourcing blocks · Market intelligence on likely quantum of buying and selling in various stocks · Screen based execution such as to get the orders filled at minimum impact cost · Algo based orientation – Meeting brokers to understand the various execution algos present in the market and which one to use in which circumstance · Trading and investment idea generation. · Finding opportunities in SLB segment. · Execution of trades for Feeder funds and Gold Fund. F&O Desk: · Excel based work like preparing churn mandates for portfolio holdings, mailing mandates to brokers, roll file preparation and mailing, peer portfolio comparison, analysis of Open Interest build up in various stks and reason for the same, etc · Sourcing arbitrage and roll blocks · Gathering market intelligence · Developing views on the likely movement in arbitrage and roll spreads of various stocks along with plausible reasoning · Focus on improvement in processes – basically razor sharp focus on doing everything from processes to decision making better than peers · Unrelenting focus on innovation and automation · Developing understanding of debt markets and help in debt investment processes Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Certifications: Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications · MBA/CFA/CA/MMS · Typically has 3 or more years’ investment experience or relevant business experience. · Knowledgeable, Subject Matter Expert in area of expertise.
