Fund Manager - Equity

POSITION: Fund Manager - Equity Location: Mumbai Position Purpose: Manages Funds for the applicable schemes assigned as per the Investment Mandate. Overall responsibility for investment management along with research for the respective funds. Acts independently within established investment policy guidelines. Works closely with the trading & research teams. Principal Accountabilities: Responsible for directing investment management activities across Equity as per the investment mandate of various funds assigned. Responsible for setting investment policies and programs to achieve the investment objectives of the fund portfolio within the mandate of policies and programs approved by management and the investment committee. Contributes to the sales effort specific to the investment area. Contributes to the revenue generation from the funds basis best effort inputs. Working closely with the trading team for best outcomes for the funds Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Certifications: Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications MBA from a premier institute or CA or CFA. Typically has 12 or more years’ investment experience or relevant business experience. Knowledgeable, Subject Matter Expert in area of expertise. Competencies Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Good interpersonal skills High degree of integrity Ability to work autonomously but know when to escalate. Ability to perform under pressure Resourcefulness and ability to use initiative High commercial acumen Attributes To have an eye for detail. Able to build strong working relationships with colleagues Keep upto date on the happenings in relevant industry Preferred Industry Experience: Ideally the candidate should have fund management experience and track record.
