About The Role

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler (Water Spider) to support our production team. In this role, you will help ensure materials and parts are available where and when they are needed, helping production run smoothly and efficiently. This position works closely with warehouse, inventory, and production team members to maintain accurate inventory and support daily operations. Responsibilities Move and organize materials from receiving and inventory areas to designated production workstations. Prepare and distribute materials in the appropriate quantities for production use. Stock and maintain materials at workstations and production areas. Monitor inventory levels and process replenishment requests as materials are consumed. Partner with production team members to ensure parts are stored in the correct locations and are easily accessible. Investigate inventory discrepancies and work with team members to resolve issues and maintain inventory accuracy. Follow through on inventory-related concerns to help ensure parts are available when needed. Assist with inventory adjustments and coordinate with purchasing, inventory control, and production teams as necessary. Review slow-moving or inactive inventory and assist with identifying appropriate next steps. Prepare and kit materials for production jobs and assemblies. Document and report defective or nonconforming materials according to established procedures. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, shipping/receiving, inventory, logistics, or material handling role preferred. Experience using scanners, inventory systems, or ERP systems is a plus. Ability to read and write in English and follow written work instructions and safety documentation. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to troubleshoot problems and work collaboratively with others to find solutions. Dependable with strong follow-through and communication skills. Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Kanban systems is preferred. Physical Requirements Regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Frequently bend, stoop, and reach during the workday. Stand and walk for extended periods of time. Move throughout the facility to support production operations. #LI-CS1
