2nd Shift Spot Truck Driver (CDL Required)

Position Title: Spotter/Truck Driver (CDL Required) Pay Rate : Pay starts at $23.20/hour and is increased to $28.64/hour after 6 months Category/Shift : 2nd Shift 3pm-11pm Physical Location : Newark Container 1851 Tamarack Road Newark, OH 43055 The Job You Will Perform: Operate the yard truck in a safe manner, during numerous drop & hook and staging scenarios Involving both loaded and empty trailers Spots positions loaded unloaded trailers at assigned dock space for unloading or loading Spot trailers on lot and some local runs. Perform daily inspections on spotter truck and equipment Report defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damages to the vehicles and/or equipment Maintain logs of trailer movements and fuel Check trailer inventory and report any irregularities on log forms Other duties and tasks as assigned by management The Skills You Will Bring: Must have a CDL class A License
