About The Role

Please log in to verify your internal candidate status. This position is part-time and has an initial appointment of 4 months. Location - This role is in-person. Work primarily takes place at Augustana Campus, Camrose. The Integrative Biology program at the Augustana Faculty has a sessional teaching vacancy for Winter Term 2027 to teach AUBIO 380 - Biochemistry: Proteins, Enzymes and Energy. The Winter Term runs from January 4 to April 9, 2027, with exam period to follow.

Develop and present lectures in biochemistry: proteins, enzymes and energy. Prepare, administer, and grade examinations and other course assessments. Maintain regularly scheduled office hours to respond to student questions.

A Master's degree in biology with concentration in biochemistry or a related area. Demonstrated excellence or strong potential in teaching at the post-secondary level.
