Mechanical Engineer II

Legrand is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to support the design, development, testing, and validation of innovative physical infrastructure for data center applications. This role leads mechanical design projects, develops components and assemblies using SolidWorks, performs product analysis and testing, and collaborates cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, marketing, and project management teams. Responsibilities include product improvement initiatives, cost reduction efforts, design reviews, documentation management, prototype validation, and production transfer. The position also provides technical mentorship and ensures products meet performance, quality, and timeline requirements.
