Applications Engineer II (Legrand Starline) supports the application and delivery of high-amperage busduct solutions for customer projects. Responsibilities include designing system layouts using AutoCAD, developing technical proposals, verifying specifications, creating technical documentation, and providing engineering, commercial, and project management support throughout the sales cycle. The role serves as a technical resource for customers, sales teams, and installation partners, assisting with product selection, troubleshooting, compliance, pricing, and training. Working closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams, the engineer helps develop technical solutions, supports installations, and travels approximately 25% to customer sites.
