Position

Military & Family Readiness Center (MFRC) Family Services Consultant

Location

RAF Croughton, United Kingdom (with travel to RAF Fairford and RAF Welford at least once per month)

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (one-hour lunch break).

Key Responsibilities

Administer and coordinate MFRC programs in line with DAFI 36-3009, including relocation, employment assistance, volunteer resources, personal/work life, and deployment support events.

Plan, coordinate, and deliver classes, workshops, and special events that promote readiness and resilience.

Disseminate information on MFRC services and local resources; maintain the

  • database.
  • Attend Community Action Team/Board meetings, providing insight on trends and family service needs.
  • Maintain accurate records in the AFFIRST database and provide required reporting.
  • Promote programs at commander’s calls, spouses’ groups, and through social media.
  • Coordinate and track budget requirements for Family Services programs.
  • Support the Emergency Family Assistance Center (EFAC) during crises and emergencies.
  • Uphold professional standards, confidentiality, and compliance with the Privacy Act.

Qualifications

  • Strong oral and written communication skills; fluent in English.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and social media.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in program coordination, family support, or related field preferred.
  • Ability to travel to RAF Fairford and RAF Welford as required
