Purpose & Scope The Lawyer, Investments & Financing is a key supporting role within the Group Legal team. You will assist senior legal counsel in providing robust legal support on the Group’s investment and financing transactions. This includes direct asset investments, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, project and corporate finance, and treasury support. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to complex, cross-border transactions and contribute to the Group's strategic growth. Key Roles and Responsibilities Transactional Support: Assist in conducting legal due diligence for M&A and investment opportunities. Support the drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of transaction documents, including sale and purchase agreements, joint venture agreements, and financing agreements. Provide legal support on project development activities, including reviewing EPC contracts and Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) under the guidance of senior lawyers. Financing and Treasury: Assist the legal team in advising on project and corporate finance transactions, including reviewing loan agreements and security documents. Support treasury-related legal work and internal corporate reorganizations. Legal & Compliance: Conduct legal research on regulatory requirements across various jurisdictions in Asia. Assist in ensuring compliance with SGX listing rules, particularly in the context of M&A transactions and corporate disclosures. Support the team in managing external legal counsel, coordinating advice, and managing costs. Business Partnering: Work closely with senior legal counsel to provide timely and commercially astute legal advice to business and finance teams. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure legal and compliance policies are effectively implemented. Qualifications, Skills & Experience 5-6 years of Post-Qualified Experience (PQE). Qualifications: Law degree from a recognized university and admission to the Singapore Bar A proactive and collaborative team player with a strong desire to learn and develop. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
