About The Role

  • Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Pay: $22.00–$25.00 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview

A growing manufacturing company is seeking a dependable and proactive Bookkeeper / Office Administrator to join its team. This role combines bookkeeping responsibilities with general office support and is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling a variety of administrative and financial tasks. Training is available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, including invoicing, collections, and vendor payments.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally.
  • Create and send purchase orders and track orders.
  • Communicate with customers regarding billing, payments, and general inquiries.
  • Assist with report creation and financial tracking.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical records.
  • Monitor and manage office inventory and supplies.
  • Support daily office operations and assist where needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or office administration preferred but not required.
  • Understanding of accounts receivable and payable processes, or willingness to learn.
  • Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Preferred Software Experience

  • QuickBooks or similar accounting software
  • Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Adobe Acrobat (PDF management)
