About The Role
Basic Qualifications
- Working knowledge of materials, equipment, techniques, and procedures used in the maintenance and repair of all facility systems.
- High School education or equivalent.
- Experience in trouble shooting and repair of electrical equipment, electrical, pneumatic, and plumbing.
- Experience in repairing motors, pumps, compressors, etc.
- One-year electrical experience.
- One-year mechanical experience.
- Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
Examples of Job Duties
- Repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Replacing switches and motors as necessary.
- Inspect mechanical equipment for proper operation and compliance with regulations, replacing bearings and motors as required.
- Understand building controls and the systems associated with each.
- Trouble shoot and repair systems and provides quick response to interruptions.
- Maintenance and repair electrical devices (including high voltage), repair electrical wiring, replace light bulbs and ballasts.
- Replace pumps, rusted pipes, and gaskets.
- Install commodes, sinks, clean out floor drains and sinks and repairs to property.
- Perform other duties assigned by Supervisor.
