Supporting role for Data Centre NOC operation - Assist in overseeing Building management systems and Chiller Plant operating systems and are responsible for supporting Facility Engineers, Remote hands and M & E Engineers as well as HSE engineers to carry out daily operation tasks to maintain uptime at a Data center. They perform troubleshooting daily. The work of a NOC engineer entails maintaining Alarms and suggesting corrective actions and coordinating the EOP's as initiated by the Shift manager in case of an emergency.

Incident Management: Handle and manage network incidents, including recording incidents, escalating as needed, and ensuring timely resolution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as network engineers, system administrators, and vendors, to resolve complex issues.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor network performance metrics and identify areas for improvement. Recommend and implement network optimization strategies to enhance performance, reliability, and scalability.

Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other IT teams, including network engineers, system administrators, and help desk personnel, to address network-related issues. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing timely updates on network incidents and resolutions.

Change Management: Participate in change management processes, ensuring that network changes are properly planned, tested, and implemented with minimal disruption to network services.

Currently enrolled in a Degree or Diploma in related field in a recognised university,

Participates in the management of 24x7 NOC operations for assigned data centres, delivering standardized services including physical access, remote hands, hardware inventory management, installation and cabling, and data centre operations site management. Willing to work 9-9 shift pattern.

Partners with the Critical facilities team to plan and execute agreed maintenance events. Participates in the delivery of data centre optimization and closure programs. Data analytics to aid optimisation and energy, water wastage tracking are key activites that will require the interns deep involvement. Subject to meeting NDA conditions, these data analysis may be used to support an energy saving or sustainability initiative as a final year project in university.

Minimum 3 Months, preferred 6 months tenure.
