What this job involves

As a Sourcing Specialist at JLL, you'll play a pivotal role in driving procurement excellence and delivering measurable value for our clients. This position sits at the intersection of strategic sourcing, vendor management, and cost optimization — ensuring 100% compliance with corporate policies while identifying innovative opportunities to generate savings. You'll manage the full lifecycle of vendor relationships, from creation and onboarding through ongoing performance monitoring, while serving as the critical commercial liaison between internal stakeholders and suppliers. You'll execute competitive bidding processes, negotiate price agreements, resolve blocked invoice issues, and champion change management initiatives that enhance supplier service levels without increasing costs. What your day-to-day will look like

• Develop and implement competitive price agreements with suppliers for spot purchases, ensuring all approvals align with JLL policies and client internal controls
• Process vendor creation, updates, and unblocking requests within JLL systems, maintaining accuracy and timeliness to prevent payment delays
• Monitor and resolve blocked invoice reports by coordinating with vendors, finance teams, and key stakeholders to ensure seamless payment processing
• Execute RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs that align with client needs, leveraging benchmarking and negotiation to secure favorable terms and generate measurable savings
• Serve as the primary commercial liaison between internal service requesters and suppliers, managing day-to-day relationships and resolving issues efficiently
• Track, document, and report all cost savings and avoidance initiatives quarterly, contributing to regional targets and strategic objectives
• Maintain comprehensive vendor files in full compliance with JLL contractual policies, including contracts, amendments, certificates of insurance, and supporting documentation
• Review supplier scorecards at least annually per contract to assess performance and identify opportunities for service improvement or cost reduction
• Support regional sourcing leadership by providing market intelligence, facilitating change management, and implementing sourcing strategies that create competitive advantage

Required qualifications

• College or technical institute degree, preferably in business administration or related field
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in purchasing, logistics, finance, or supply chain management
• Advanced proficiency in English (written and verbal communication)
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Demonstrated negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable commercial terms
• Proven track record of maintaining compliance with internal controls, policies, and audit standards
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred qualifications

• Portuguese language proficiency
• Experience managing vendor relationships in a corporate or client-facing procurement environment
• Familiarity with sourcing tools, competitive bidding processes, and contract management systems
• Track record of delivering cost savings through strategic sourcing initiatives
• Highly proactive mindset with flexibility and "learning along the way" approach to professional development
• Strong teamwork orientation and commitment to exceptional client service
