Apprentice Optometrist

Responsible for delivering on-site vision screening, refraction, and contact lens fitting as part of the corporate activation program. The role focuses on driving contact lens trials, patient education, and supporting conversion, ensuring a high-quality clinical experience for consumers while contributing to overall program effectiveness.

Major Activities

• Conduct vision screening using appropriate equipments .
• Perform objective and subjective refraction to determine and finalize accurate prescription s .
• Assess contact lens suitability and recommend appropriate solutions .
• Execute contact lens fitting and trial process, including l ens selection and fitting, c omfort evaluation, visual acuity assessment and t rial kit handover .
• Provide comprehensive patient education, including Do’s and Don’ts of contact lens usage, h ygiene and maintenance practices, a pplication and removal techniques .
• Deliver pre- and post-fitting counselling to build consumer confidence, especially for first-time users .
• Address patient queries and concerns to support contact lens adoption and retention.
• Collaborate with promoters and ECPs to ensure a seamless consumer journey.
