Job Title : Content Social Media Officer

JOB DESCRIPTION

We're looking for a skilled content creator with end-to-end production experience — from concept and storyboarding through to final edit. Based in Niseko, you'll be our on-the-ground creative, producing high-quality photo and video content across our luxury portfolio in Hokkaido and nearby resorts.

You'll work closely with our Creative Director, Social Media Manager and full-time Content Creator, contributing across a range of environments from interiors, lifestyle, and fashion to snow sports (of course). Confidence in pitching creative direction, contributing to storyboards, and taking initiative on set is a must. Flexible hours are part of the role to capture content at the right time, and occasional travel to Furano and Rusutsu will be required.

JOB OVERVIEW/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, shoot and edit high-quality photo and video content for our luxury properties and nearby resorts, contributing to both seasonal campaigns and our year-round content library.
• Own the full editing process end-to-end — from initial cut through to colour grading, sound, captions and final delivery.
• Work closely with the Creative Director, Social Media Manager and full-time Content Creator to bring creative concepts to life.
• Contribute to content calendar planning and storyboarding as part of the wider creative team.
• Respond to content requests from across the marketing team and other departments in a timely manner.
• Report on project progress at weekly team meetings.
• Pitch in across the wider marketing team where your skills are useful — photo editing, graphic design, event assistance and more.

REQUIREMENTS

【Must】

• Experience
• Demonstrable skills in photography and/or videography with a strong portfolio
• Education and Qualification
• Valid working visa in Japan
• Valid Driver’s License (Japanese, international, or foreign driver’s license with an official Japanese Translation)
• Skills
• Proficient in end-to-end video editing (cut, colour, sound, captions, delivery)
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Intermediate skier or snowboarder and comfortable operating camera equipment on-mountain.
• Language Skills
• Business Level or above in English
• Competencies
• Personable and reliable
• Flexible with hours and comfortable working outdoors (particularly in cold environments);
• Takes ownership of work and assumes responsibility

Contract Period & Renewal

• Duty: may be changed as determined by the company
• Work Location: Kutchan Office
• Scope of changes: work location may be changed as determined by the company (Training may be conducted at other location)

Working hours, Days off & Overtime

• Working hours / Shift schedule: 09:00 to 18:00
• Days off: two days off per week (based on shift schedule)

• Monthly Average Overtime Hours: 15 hours per month
• 36-Article Agreement (overtime): Applicable (Due to seasonal factors and a high concentration of orders from general customers, periods of increased workload are expected)

Salary Package / Benefit

• Salary: 2,040 yen / per hour
