Chinese Localization Expert (Simplified Chinese)

Job duties Responsibilities: ・Translate from both English and Japanese to produce top-quality localizations ・Proofread/Edit Simplified Chinese translations to ensure localization quality ・Provide feedback to Localization Directors on culturally sensitive issues ・Manage Chinese language assets ・Assist with Chinese voice recording preparation and recording sessions (Mainland Mandarin) ・Test Chinese assets in-game and fix issues Qualifications: ・Be a native speaker of Chinese ・Knowledge of Simplified Chinese is a must ・Have a broad knowledge of Chinese game industry in general, as well as Chinese gaming culture in mainland China ・Business-level of Japanese proficiency is a must (N1 level) ・Be able to communicate in an English-speaking environment is a must ・Good verbal and written communication skills in English is preferred ・Experience in game localization and script translation is preferred ・Be competent in self-management ・Be able to follow deadlines ・Be able to work simultaneously on multiple projects when necessary
