Localization Director

Job duties As a Localization Director, you will work directly with development teams on projects from beginning to end. You will be responsible for producing top-quality localizations for CAPCOM games, and will be expected to report to the head of Localization Production. Responsibilities: ・Oversee and manage localization projects in both a project management and creative capacity ・Collaborate with both internal and external teams to ensure a top-quality localization across multiple languages ・Develop and implement workflows for translation, voice recording, and linguistic quality assurance ・Provide guidance to ensure the creative vision, quality, accuracy, and cultural relevance of all localized content Requirements: ・Over 2 years of project management experience in game localization ・Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English and Japanese ・Proven leadership experience with strong project management capabilities ・Excellent organizational skills and experience in leading projects ・Native-level English speaker with a deep understanding of cultural nuances in target markets ・Bachelor’s degree Preferred Qualifications: ・Experience working in all phases of game localization, from pre- to post-production ・Proven track record in managing multilingual projects ・Extensive knowledge of the game industry and gaming culture ・Strong and adaptable problem-solving abilities ・Proven experience collaborating within diverse, multicultural teams
