Senior Manager, Sales

What You'll Do

1. Commercial Strategy & Execution

• Translate commercial strategy into actionable sales plans across channels (retail, foodservice, industrial, export as applicable)
• Drive execution of sales initiatives to deliver revenue growth, profitability, and market share
• Optimize portfolio performance, balancing growth, margin, and customer mix
• Collaborate and lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of key business projects and sales objectives

1. Portfolio & Business Ownership

• Own a significant portion of the business portfolio with full accountability for performance outcomes
• Establish sales targets, forecasts, and KPIs aligned with business objectives
• Monitor performance trends and implement corrective actions as needed
• Ensure disciplined execution of commercial policies, governance, pricing protocols, and tools

1. Customer & Market Leadership

• Lead strategic relationships with key customers and distributors
• Identify and capture new business opportunities, channels, and partnerships
• Leverage market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer needs to inform strategy

1. Team Leadership & Capability Building

• Lead, coach, and develop Sales Managers and broader sales teams
• Build a high-performing, accountable, and customer-focused sales organization
• Drive talent development, succession planning, and engagement for the local sales team

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Sales or Commercial roles
• Proven experience leading multi-channel sales teams
• Strong track record of delivering revenue growth and profitability
• Experience managing strategic customer relationships and negotiations
• Strategic thinking and commercial acumen, experience in Food Manufacturing or Consumer Goods preferred
